Such challenges call for deep transformation of our economy, our organisations and our behaviours. We need to shape multidisciplinary public policies with global perspectives and complex solutions. Brittany is focused on three types of transitions to organize and support innovation and research towards a more sustainable, local and inclusive society.

Faced to the digital revolution, Brittany aims to organize and support the digitalization of the entire economy, while integrating indispensable ethical discussions on protection of individual liberties and sustainability of our society.

As we already experience climate change, we are committed to support actors to transform and adapt to climate change. We also are supporting the emergence of innovations with positive impact or “low tech” and the development of circular economy.

For us, it is key that innovation suits needs and aspirations of citizens. We are working to support development of social innovation in Brittany, and to reinforce discussion between science and society.
